AtlasLoot Enhanced

Root mod by Pernicius: http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/2828/

Thank-yous: Too many to list now, but they include Asurn, KKram, k2hyun, sohonmr2, arith, 560889223, Telic, Dan , Pownas, Celellach, Hegarol and probably more I have missed.

This mod may be freely redistributed and posted online, just please post a link back to this page so show where you got it from

Stand-alone UI

Simply type /atlasloot or click the minimap button to view the new UI or to set options

Drop Rates

Drop Rates have been included for all instances.

Enhanced tooltips

If you have Lootlink or ItemSync installed, you can use tooltips generated by them instead of the default tooltip. I recommend the Lootlink tooltips, they handle data not in your local cache well.

If an item has (no iteminfo) after it you can only get the tooltip via Lootlink or ItemSync. Be careful with ItemSync, it is unstable on items not seen on your server (just the way ItemSync is). Lootlink works a treat.

Just shift-click items to link in the chat window. Two modes: Chat Links Safe Mode: Can only link items without the (no iteminfo) tag. Slight chance of disconnect if you have an item in your local cache the server has not seen for a while, but unlikely. Chat Link ALL ITEMS: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Strong chance of disconnects, especially on items your server hasn't seen yet.

Dressing Room

Control-click on 'safe' loot to use the dressing room.

EquipCompare

Use of EquipCompare can now be controlled through the options menu

Use with fixed price DKP systems

Simply edit the file 'dkp.lua' using data from localization.en.lua (for the item ID numbers) and your guild's fixed price values to allow for DKP values to be shown in the tooltip. The stubs of some Lucifron items have been included to get you started and show you how it's done.

Portability

Want Atlasloot Loot tables in your mod? Simply call the new function AtlasLoot_ShowBossLoot().

Example: You want to see Lucifron's loot attached to you player portrait.... pFrame = {"TOPLEFT", "PlayerFrame", "BOTTOMRIGHT", 0, 0 } AtlasLoot_ShowBossLoot(MCLucifron, "Lucifron", pFrame);

pFrame is an array holding how to display the loot. pFrame = { anchor point, frame to anchor to, relative anchor point, x offset, y offset }

AtlasLoot_ShowBossLoot has the location of the data, text to be displayed as the boss name and the pFrame. AtlasLoot_ShowBossLoot( dataID, Boss Name, pFrame)

They go in separately to the AtlasLoot folder. They are addons in their own right, but they don't do much, they just copy data tables into memory. In this way you only have to install the ones you want.

Heya. =) Just a quick question. When putting AtlasLoot in my addons file, would I have to add the: AtlasLoot_BCInstances, AtlasLoot_OldInstances, AtlasLoot_RepFactions, AtlasLoot_SetsandPvP, AtlasLoot_WorldLoot , Seperate from the AtlasLoot folder, or would I have to toss them in it for them to work properly?

Thanks. =)

I use the default windows unzip tool and it works fine. WinRAR and Winzip should also do the trick, as long as the option 'preserve directory structure' is selected (it usually is by default).

@relikpl: Upgrade to the latest Atlas (1.10) and AtlasLoot (v4.01.01).

@Goliath123: The Cartographer stuff has nothing to do with AtlasLoot, it uses it's own limited database.

The German Atlas translation is inconsistent with the English then. I no longer have a German translator with an active WoW account, so Hegarol will have to check it line by line the hard way.

@Dragane: Thanks. I already fixed this in the Ace version.

@Attix: Daviesh couldn't notice, because the German local file for this Atlas page is different designed than the English local file. I guess it will be fixed in an upcoming Atlas release since its not intended, but maybe Daviesh will include a quick fix until the local will be fixed.

@Dragane :

Yes, that`s the old instances part... Alte Instanzen is german ;-)

@Daviesh :

Some loot frames are corrupted with Atlas 1.10 an Atlasloot 4.01.00, german client. Especially in Karazhan something went wrong, I think. Aran, Netherspite and some other bosses don`t have lootframes, but the basement bosses then have the frames of Aran etc.

One of the parts is not fully translated. In the addons menu where i choose which addon to load there is an Atlasloot [Alte Instanzen]. Is the the old instances part?

Big update for Atlas 1.10 with all the changes Dan has made there. All the Patch 2.2 changes we could easily find have been incorporated for this release as well as adding a 'World Events' section for stuff like the STV Fishing Comp. Finally I have added some more options with the LoD Modules. You can now load them all at once with a click of a button or load them all at once on startup, which is handy for people who have older machines that pause very slightly when a new module loads.

  • v4.01.00.
  • Patch 2.2 Data included.
  • Atlas 1.10 Compatible.
  • Added 'World Events' section, more content there very soon.
  • Added loot to the Entrace map mobs.
  • Added the 2 centaur factions.
  • Can now disable text notification when a LoD module loads (no message by default).
  • Added a 'Load Modules' button that manually loads all available LoD modules.
  • Loot updates and translations.
  • Bug fixes.

Atlas 1.10 compatibility has been in the Ace version for some time, but I have a completely different time zone to Dan, so there is about 12 hours lag between him letting me know it's out and it AtlasLoot getting posted.

All the modules are included in the zip files from here. If you go to wowace for the pre-release versions (ie: not finished but largely bug free), you need to get the core mod and all the modules seperately.
